Willie "Boochy" Hamilton fatally shot 28-year-old Joseph McCants Jr. as they were walking together late Oct. 20, 2015, on Southwest Third Street in Belle Glade. Authorities suspect that Hamilton killed McCants for providing information to law enforcement that led to Hamilton's arrest five years earlier. Hamilton was killed in January 2016 before authorities could file charges against him.
