Sean M. Murdick, 22

Sean Murdick was co-captain of his high school football team, loved sports and rode dirt bikes near his home in Albany, N.Y.

After attending local colleges, Sean took a job in construction. He broke his arm on a job site and was prescribed oxycodone. When his prescription ran out, he bought pills on the street, When they got too expensive, he turned to heroin.

Sean was in and out of treatment centers in New York and Vermont before coming to The Treatment Center in Lake Worth. He was clean nearly six months before relapsing. He was found dead in the bathroom of his sober home, police said.

He was 22.
